Analysis: Bulimia and the image of women

Katie Couric, an American journalist and author, disclosed her struggle with bulimia during one of her talk shows about eating disorders.

According to the Associated Press (AP), Sept. 25, 2012, Couric was bulimic back when she was a college student. She was always self conscious and rather insecure about her body image. “I wasn’t good enough or attractive enough or thin enough,” she said.  Couric’s case is just one out of many.
